One of the most delightful games on the App Store

First of all, I saw someone say this game is pay to play, which is what prompted me to post my own review. It really bothered me because that couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, it’s just a straight up lie. Either that or they are a sore loser. Maybe they don’t have a mind for strategy or don’t understand how the game works, but that’s just absolutely unequivocally wrong. The season pass, if you choose to get it, is very reasonable and not a subscription, but you can easily master the game without it. Especially if you specialize with one particular Evo (Camo is best, esp. with the thing that makes you eat other EVOs faster IMO).

The gameplay itself is so fun and addictive. Its kind of like the Worms series in the sense that it’s sort of a sandbox competitive strategy game against the computer. It’s really one of the most unique games on the App Store and keeps you coming back for more. I love the new update and how it gives you’re the islands to navigate. It gives you a visual goal and a sense of progress that was missing previously. I really recommend you do yourself a favor and download this game right now! You won’ regret it. Plus as a bonus- LOVE the menu music.

Probably the best casual game on mobile

I have played this game every day for over a month now. It is fun, strategic, and definitely not pay to play, I am extremely stingy yet I made it to top 88% within 5 weeks using almost only Poison.

My only real complaint had to do with Virus being able to multiply within the walls preventing you from winning unless you gained 300 evos but this seems to have been fixed. My next is more of a request I haven’t seen from others, PLEASE let us pick colors! As I mentioned Poison is my favorite evo and I am in love with the purple color scheme it has when you’re playing against it and I want to have that for my own evo!

Secondly, please make it so I don’t lose my entire game when changing devices, I am in between devices at the moment and just found out ALL my progress is lost and I have to start over. Once I get a new phone I will have to start over again. This isn’t fair to those who have spent money unlocking evos which thankfully I didn’t.

Overall fantastic game, please keep updating!

This game is a grind

I feel as though this game is incredibly long. I’ve had it for a long period of time myself and I’m just now getting into it again and looking back and playing it now it feels like everything is behind a pay wall, it takes literally 10 whole minutes to recharge one energy you can hold a maximum of five so it takes almost an entire hour just to play 5 3minute rounds that alone is a grind but when you’re playing the game, as you prefer progress further in the game each stage takes longer to complete because each stage will have rounds on them. I’ve gotten to the point where it’s like eight rounds for one stage so I will spend about 20 minutes completing part of a stage that’s if I win every round and then I would have to wait an hour to complete the rest of the stage and then you would have to complete about 15 of these stages just to collect a little bit of gold loot or just about anything or you can pay $50 to unlock more stages and a little bit more minions the economy I care about is the gold which is also locked behind every stage I will play for three days in a row every hour of the day just to get about 1000 gold meanwhile the minion I have been playing with has a maxed out rank meaning I can’t rank up at all as a person and cost 7500 gold to level up
